Week 4 of An Ignatian Prayer Adventure

An Ignatian Prayer AdventureOur online retreat continues with Week 4 of An Ignatian Prayer Adventure ready today. We’re moving into the Second Week of the Spiritual Exercises and begin by contemplating the Incarnation and the birth of Jesus.

If you’re just coming to the retreat, welcome. You can start the retreat back at Week 1, or follow along now as we explore our theme of “Knowing Jesus.” For those of you who have been participating since the start of Lent, you can look forward to the usual reflections from Paul Campbell, SJ, and Vinita Hampton Wright tomorrow. Visit dotMagis on Tuesday for my video of the week.

  1. I wandered round to find the time creating a book of my life, with Jesus as my purpose, and this retreat of the Ignatian is the way in which i could. Thank you Jesus, for helping me through this light.

  2. I have been doing the whole “Ignatian Adventure” under the direction of a wonderful Jesuit priest. This experience is, in a word, amazing! I have been taught so many things about myself and my relationship with Christ and with other people. I consider Ignatius a kind of spiritual genius. I wish all dotMagis Blog readers could have the joy of this adventure.

  3. Thanks! I’m needing to balance social justice work (which is, I think, a good thing for me to do during Lent) with time to know Jesus. I like the way you set up this “adventure.”
