Some people say they have no imagination, but then they go out and pretend on Halloween. That’s a grand night of imagination. Whether sharing stories of ghosts and vampires, or encouraging children to dress up as heroes or cultural characters, the masks and costumes we don that night tell us something about how to imagine.
What do you really want to be? Better, WHO do you want to be? Imagine yourself as that better version of yourself that God is calling you to. That’s a Halloween lesson I think many of us can take into days long after the candy has disappeared from the shelves.
