Praying in Lent

Today, Ash Wednesday, the first Lunchtime Examen goes live on IgnatianSpirituality.com.  I’ve recorded six of these; a new one will be posted every Wednesday in Lent.  The Lunchtime Examen is a guided prayer, along with some reflections about what the Examen is all about.  The topic for today is “Why is this a good way to pray?”

You might use the Lunchtime Examen in combination with Lenten prayers at Other6.  Prayer prompts will be posted every day on Other6 to help you find God in different ways this Lent.

For more Lenten prayer ideas, check out Loyola Press’s Lenten resource page.
