Colbert and the Cosmologist

A couple of weeks ago, Stephen Colbert appeared with Cardinal Timothy Dolan at Fordham University for an evening of one-liners and lighthearted spiritual talk.  A crowd of 3000 students loved it. (The Cardinal asked Colbert if he felt pressure to be funny all the time.  He shot back, “Do you feel pressure to be holy all the time?”)  Colbert, who teaches Sunday school in his parish in New Jersey, sometimes takes on spiritual topics on his Comedy Central show, as he does in this exchange with a cosmologist.  (Click here if you are getting this post by e-mail.)
