A group of young Jesuits is hitting the road this summer giving renewal weekends for young adults. They call themselves the Jesuit Mission Band, and they kick off the missions this weekend in Milwaukee. Other weekends will follow in Iowa City, Chicago, and Des Moines. The weekends are called “Hearts on Fire: Living Faith in Daily Life with the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola.”
The mission band uses the full panoply of modern communication: a web page, a Facebook page, YouTube video, and a very cool poster.
