Becky Eldredge is an Ignatian-trained spiritual director, who is passionate about helping clergy, religious, and lay leaders live and lead with Christ through her writing, retreats, and teaching. She is the founder of Ignatian Ministries and is an award-winning author of three books: Encounter Grace, The Inner Chapel, and Busy Lives and Restless Souls. Becky trains spiritual directors in the Ignatian tradition as part of the Archdiocese of New Orleans Spirituality Center teaching staff and serves as the Coordinator of Spiritual Direction for the Diocese of Baton Rouge.

Another effective approach is to speak directly with our Lord… Adoration is a great opportunity and immediately after receiving the Eucharist. Open your heart. Let Him know what you are seeking and why. Ask that the Holy Spirit bring you and the right Spiritual Director together. It works, if you TRUST IN OUR LORD.

Thanks for posting. I believe just as much as you do in finding a good spiritual director to guide and lead. Developing and growing spiritually as a person will help us grow in maturity and intimately know better both ourselves from the inside out and others as well. I am still growing spiritually today and it’s these helpful posts that guide me in continuing to do so.
