Pope Francis’s anticipated encyclical on the environment is due this week, June 18, 2015. The title Laudato Si (Praised Be) comes from the first words of the popular Canticle of the Sun by St. Francis of Assisi. As we await this papal document, it might be fruitful to pray the Canticle of the Sun. Here, we share a video of Vinita Hampton Wright reciting this prayer.
