Jesuits and the Higgs Boson

Yesterday we noted a Jesuit connection to Olympic swimming.  Today we feature Jesuit contributions to particle physics. The Society of Jesus has a wide reach indeed.

Writing on the British Jesuit site ThinkingFaith.org, Andrew Pinsent takes a stab at explaining what all the Higgs boson excitement is about (I’m still not clear), but he also talks about what spiritual significance this discovery might have, and gives some overdue attention to Jesuit physicists.
