We’ve just released an image and audio presentation on the Examen–the fifth in our Ignatian Way series. As the narrator says at the beginning, the Examen is “the cornerstone of Ignatian prayer.” The presentation is based on material written by Brian Grogan, SJ, of the Irish Jesuits.
The other four are about Ignatian prayer, finding God in all things, the Spiritual Exercises, and an overview of Ignatian spirituality.
This time I actually watched a video. Two of them indeed and I appreciate the way the Examen is explicated and explained thoroughly. Special love for the shot of the construction worker with the ice cream cone — now who else but God would come up with such a blessing!
